How to Delete Project?

Introduction:

Ensure the effective management of your QA processes by carefully managing your projects. Use this guide to delete a project in Cross Check. Be mindful that this action has different consequences depending on your subscription plan.

What You'll Need:
  • An active Cross Check account with Owner, Admin, or Project Manager role access.
Steps to Delete Your Project:
Access Project Delete Option:
  • Click on the projects icon from the sidebar.
  • Click on the menu icon in front of the project's name you want to delete.
  • Click on the delete option, a popup will appear.
Confirm Deletion:
  • A prompt will appear asking for confirmation. This step is crucial, as it prevents accidental deletions.

Note:

  • For Premium and Basic Plan Users: The project, along with all its associated data (test cases, test runs, bugs, feedback, tasks, and milestones), will be moved to the trash. You have the option to recover it later if needed within the recovery time span.
  • For Free Plan Users: The deletion is immediate and irreversible. All associated data will be permanently removed.
