Convert Bugs to Test Cases

Convert bugs into test cases seamlessly with Crosscheck software testing tool.


Who can use this Feature?   
  • Except for Developers, all roles (Admin, Owner, Project Manager, and QA) have access to convert bugs into test cases of respective projects.  


How to convert bugs reported into Test cases? 
Step 1: Find Your Bug 
  • Log in to the Crosscheck website: Crosscheck Login.
  • Select a bug from the project you want to convert into a test case.
Step 2: Click on Convert to Test case 
  • Either click the "Convert to Test Case" icon in the Action column or find it within the View Bug details.
  • The Test Case form will pop up, automatically filled with bug details like Project name, Milestone, Feature, Test Type, Test Objective, Test Steps, Expected Result, and Related Task ID.
Step 3: Save Your Test Case 
  • Click "Save" to create the test case. You'll be redirected back to the original bug.
