Screenshot Capture Modes

CrossCheck provides three distinct screenshot capture modes, each designed for specific use cases and documentation requirements.

1. Selected Area Capture

Best For: Focusing on specific UI elements, error messages, or particular sections of a webpage.

How to Use

  1. Access the Extension
    • Click the CrossCheck extension icon in your browser toolbar
    • The extension popup will appear with capture options
  2. Select Capture Mode
    • Click Selected Area in the screenshot section
    • The extension prepares for area selection
  3. Choose Time Delay (Optional)
    • Options: 0s (instant), 3s, or 5s
  4. Select Your Area
    • Click and drag to create a rectangle around the target area
  5. Capture
    • Release to confirm, screenshot is taken automatically
